Klucni zakljucci
Picosecond laser systems changed the way we approach tattoo removal and pigment work because they rely more on photoacoustic fragmentation and less on excess thermal damage.
That distinction matters when treating multicolor tattoos, pigment-prone koza, and patients who want a cleaner recovery profile than older nanosecond platforms often provide.
The pulse duration is extremely short, so pigment particles absorb energy and shatter before significant heat can spread into surrounding tissue. In practical terms, that can mean more efficient particle breakdown with a lower inflammatory burden.
This does not remove all limitations. Ink color, depth, layering, and white or titanium-heavy pigments still affect how completely a tattoo can clear.
Low-fluence pico protocols can also be useful in selected pigment and koza-quality plans, especially when the goal is controlled tretman with less thermal stress. That is one reason these systems became attractive in melasma-sensitive practice.
Still, patient selection matters. Trigger control, topical support, and UV discipline remain essential because recurrent pigment is often driven by biology, not by device failure.
Dr. Gemici: Pico laser is valuable because it can be more precise, not because it is magic. Good outcomes still depend on the ink, the koza, the settings, and the nega posle tretmana.
Tattoo removal usually needs repeated sessions spaced over time. Koza renewal and pigment programs also work gradually and should be explained honestly from the start.
Nega posle tretmana usually focuses on gentle cleansing, protecting the koza barrier, and avoiding UV exposure. The cleaner the recovery, the safer the long-term result.
Some clear very well, but complete clearance is not guaranteed. Color mix, ink depth, layering, and white-pigment content all affect the final result.
It can be used safely, but only with careful parameters and realistic planning. Darker koza always requires more attention to pigment risk and nega posle tretmana.
It is generally avoided during pregnancy. Waiting until after pregnancy remains the safer standard approach.
