About This Category
Region-specific treatments cover protocols that fall outside classic facial medical aesthetics or that require specialised approaches on non-facial regions. The neck (cervical region) and décolletage have a different ageing dynamic from the face — driven by sleeping position, sun damage, thin skin and faster photoaging — so device parameters there are kept conservative. The dorsum of the hand requires dedicated protocols (biostimulator filler, IPL or Q-switched laser for pigment, skinboosters and fractional laser) because of thin overlying soft tissue and prominent veins. Axillary, palmar and plantar focal hyperhidrosis treated with botulinum toxin is one of the most established medical indications, with effects lasting 6-12 months. RF microneedling and fractional laser are used for skin rejuvenation of the knees, elbows and abdomen; fractional CO2, RF and PRP protocols cover intimate (vulvovaginal) indications; and for scalp and androgenetic alopecia support, PRP, PRF, mesotherapy and low-level laser therapy (LLLT) lead. At Dr. Hamza Gemici’s clinic each of these regions receives dedicated anatomical mapping, device-parameter tuning, an anaesthesia plan, a session calendar and region-appropriate photo-documentation for follow-up. Glossary entries here define region-specific anatomy, indications, protocols, contraindications and session planning; which treatment suits which region and in what sequence is decided individually for each patient. Personal candidacy is always assessed in consultation.
Axillary hyperhidrosis, primary focal hyperhidrosis coded with ICD-10 R61.0, which causes excessive sweat secretion throughout the day, regardless of stress, due to the hyperactive operation of the eccrine sweat glands in the armpit area due to sympathetic cholinergic innervation; HDSS ≥ 3 is a medical condition that significantly reduces the quality of life of patients and provides 75-90% sweat reduction with Botox gold standard treatment.
Décolletage rejuvenation is a site-specific multimodal procedure applied with the combination of IPL, hyaluronic acid skinbooster, fractional laser and topical retinol to eliminate poikiloderma (hyperpigmentation + telangiectasia + atrophy), horizontal wrinkles and crepey skin occurring in the V-neck area (under the clavicle - sternum - upper chest).
Foot botox; It is a medical aesthetic procedure in which intradermal botulinum toxin type A is injected to treat excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) on the sole of the foot (plantar area), and reduces the activity of eccrine sweat glands by applying it to the areas marked with the Minor iodine-starch test.
Hair Mesotherapy is a medical aesthetics term related to treatments planned for specific face or body areas. In Dr. Hamza Gemici's glossary, it is explained as a patient-education topic for understanding indications, planning, recovery, and safety before consultation.
Hand rejuvenation is a procedure to treat thin skin, tortuous veins, sun damage pigmentation (lentigines) and volume loss of the dorsum manus (back of the hand) with a combination of HA filler, Radiesse biostimulation, laser (IPL/Q-switched NdYag) and topical retinol.
Lipolysis is a medical aesthetics term related to treatments planned for specific face or body areas. In Dr. Hamza Gemici's glossary, it is explained as a patient-education topic for understanding indications, planning, recovery, and safety before consultation.
Against platysmal bands, horizontal wrinkles and pigmentation problems of the neck area; Multimodal aesthetic procedure with a combination of botox, hyaluronic acid, biostimulators and laser.
