Preparation
Stop retinol and exfoliating products 1 week before. Postpone if there is an active herpes/acne infection. A topical anesthetic cream is applied 30-45 minutes prior.
Follow-up Care
Redness and mild sensitivity in the first 24-48 hours are normal. Sun protection and moisturizing are advised for 3-5 days. A course of 3 sessions, 3-4 weeks apart, is usually planned.
How It Is Performed
