EXOSOME ATLAS

Where is the science going?

A shared name covers different preparations, purposes and levels of evidence. Choose an area to explore in depth.

01Early controlled human studies

Skin rejuvenation

Investigate additional benefit alongside existing procedures for skin texture, hydration and recovery.

The next milestone

Longer follow-up, blinded assessment and replication using the same preparation.

Read the guide
02Pilot studies and heterogeneous evidence

Hair and scalp

Develop new approaches targeting signals around the hair follicle.

The next milestone

Comparison with established treatments for the same diagnosis and independent replication.

03Early clinical translation

Tissue repair

Turn signals involved in tissue repair into measurable therapeutic tools.

The next milestone

Progress from early safety observations to adequately sized trials against standard care.

04Diagnostic validation and phase I research

Diagnostics and drug delivery

Read disease-related information less invasively and deliver cargo to selected molecular targets.

The next milestone

Tests that improve clinical decisions and delivery platforms validated in controlled efficacy studies.

Frequently asked questions

Are exosomes only being studied for skin rejuvenation?

No. Research also covers tissue repair, hair, diagnostic tests and targeted molecular delivery. Each application is at a different stage; evidence in one does not establish another.

Are exosomes the same as stem cells or PRP?

No. Exosomes are a subgroup of extracellular vesicles, not live cells. PRP is platelet-rich plasma prepared from a person’s blood. Their contents and evidence are not interchangeable.

How many sessions are needed and how long do results last?

There is no single validated protocol for all products and purposes. Small, short studies do not guarantee lasting results. A plan must reflect the diagnosis and evidence for the exact preparation.

Does the clinic offer every application discussed?

No. This portal explains the research field; it is not a service menu. Cancer, diagnostic and wound studies are included to explain medical developments. Individual options require a consultation.

This selected-literature guide is neither a service menu nor a systematic review. It does not imply that every application discussed is offered at the clinic.
