PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is an autologous procedure in which platelet-rich plasma prepared from the patient's blood is used on the skin or scalp in selected situations. Being autologous may reduce some allergy concerns, but it does not remove risks related to bruising, pain, infection, preparation variability, blood conditions, or medication history.

Preparation
Hydrate well and do not come fasting on the procedure day. Tell your doctor if you use blood thinners. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours.
Follow-up Care
Immediate return to daily life; mild redness fades within hours. For skin, 3-4 sessions 2-4 weeks apart; for hair, a monthly course is planned.
A small amount of blood is drawn from the arm and centrifuged in special tubes to separate the platelet-rich plasma. The resulting plasma is applied to the skin or scalp with fine needles or microneedling.
